GERARD LAMARCHE

SENIOR ADVISOR

Gérard Lamarche is a senior advisor at Innesto Partners. 

Gérard began his professional career in 1983 at Deloitte Haskins & Sells in Belgium and in the Netherlands in 1987. In 1988, he joined Société Générale de Belgique as Investment Manager. He was promoted to Controller in 1989, and from 1992 to 1995, was Advisor on Strategic Operations.

He joined Compagnie Financière de Suez as Advisor to the Chairman and Secretary to the Executive Committee (1995-1997) before being appointed Deputy Director in charge of Planning, Control and Accounting. In 2000 Gérard Lamarche pursued his carrier in the industrial sector, joining NALCO (a US subsidiary of the Suez group, world leader in industrial waste water treatment) as Managing Director. In January 2003, he was appointed CFO of the Suez group. In 2008, he was appointed CFO of GDF Suez.

He was co-CEO of Groupe Bruxelles Lambert and Managing Director.

Gérard graduated in Economics from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve with a specialization in Business Administration and Management. He also completed the Advanced Management Program for Suez Group Executives at the INSEAD Business School and took part in the 1998-99 Wharton International Forum, Global Leadership Series. 

Gérard served on the board of KPE/KKR, Total, International Power, SGS, Agbar, Legrand SA, Distrigaz, and LafargeHolcim.
