Joachim de Belgique is the managing partner of Innesto Partners.
Prior to founding Innesto Partners, Joachim acquired both investing and operational experience from world leading institutions making him uniquely suited for the search fund investing world.
On the investment side, Joachim worked at Clayton Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), a leading large cap private equity player. At CD&R, Joachim worked on a £575 million health care transaction. Prior to working at CD&R, Joachim worked at AtlasInvest, a top tier single-family office which also manages Carlyle International Energy Partners. As the only analyst on the team, Joachim gained extensive investing experience reviewing hundreds of opportunities and working on multiple small and mid-cap transactions.
On the operational side, Joachim joined New Southern Energy (NSE), where he was quickly promoted to head of sales and marketing. NSE is a portfolio company of AtlasInvest, which at the time was of similar size as a potential search fund target. During his time at NSE the company opened two additional offices and grew its sales and marketing team from 2 to 13 individuals.
Joachim holds a Bachelor of Science in International Economics, Management and Finance from Bocconi University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Joachim is fluent in English, French, and Dutch and is conversational in Italian.
